Step-by-step guide to filing official scam complaints in the Philippines.
The PNP Anti-Cybercrime Group (ACG) handles cyber fraud cases. You can file a complaint at their office in Camp Crame, Quezon City, or call (02) 723-0401 local 5313. Bring your evidence: screenshots, transaction records, and the scammer's contact details.
The NBI Cybercrime Division also accepts complaints. Visit their main office on Taft Avenue, Manila, or call (02) 524-6344. They can investigate and file criminal charges against identified scammers.
For telecom-related complaints (unwanted texts, spoofed numbers), contact the NTC at 1682 or file a complaint online. The NTC can take action against telecom providers and block reported numbers.
The CICC (Cybercrime Investigation and Coordinating Center) coordinates responses to cybercrime. Call their hotline at 1326 for guidance on which agency to approach for your specific case. Remember: reporting helps not just you, but future potential victims.
