Act immediately. Contact your bank or e-wallet provider to freeze your account and prevent further unauthorized transactions. Most banks have 24/7 fraud hotlines for exactly this purpose.
Document everything. Take screenshots of conversations, text messages, call logs, and transaction records. Write down the scammer's number, the time of contact, and what was said. This evidence is crucial for investigations.
Report to the authorities. File a complaint with the PNP Anti-Cybercrime Group (ACG) at (02) 723-0401, the NBI Cybercrime Division at (02) 524-6344, or call the CICC hotline at 1326. You can also report to the NTC at 1682.
